I am not sure if this is new to people or not but it is new to me. My friend recently showed me this tool that can create a windows vista looking set up for your desktop etc while still running off of XP. So far, after downloading and tweaking a few minor things, I love it. I don't feel any difference in performance but I do see how much better it looks. Here are some screenshots of my desktop with it:

there is also the pop up menu like the apple OS X has. for some reason I couldnt take a picture of it but it is very handy and cool to use.

I'm actually using this now, but managed to fuck it up.

Its a pain to get rid of, and if you have certain hotfixes other things stop working, but its really nice to have.

Yes, but the intro nehalms will be 45nm, and limited to quad.. the GOOD nehalm wont be out until mid-way through '09 32nm quads.. Then eight in '10 i think..

Pablo was bragging about Vista yesterday, something like "omg, i can't wait to dl vista premium" or something like that, i personally don't see a point to vista, cuz i've never had it :P

its not the actual OS Vista, it is just a "skin" that looks like it while still using XP
