Its my friend Charles on his 2006 GSR1000 with a tank mount camera following me. On camera it looks really slow, but we were hauling, I was riding at about 50-75%, since I had only been on that road twice before, so I was still trying to learn it. Once we got going we never dip below 70, and are going 120-130 down the straightaways. Keep in mind at the beginning also that when we first go, 1st gear on most bikes will go 60-80 easily before they redline, so that first little part we were already doing 90.
At about 10:40 I see a cop, doing over 100, was still doing like 60 in a 40 as I passed him, luckily he was sheriffs department, and they are not allowed radar guns... I wave at him, then duck into a set of apartments. The best part is that Charles has already been to a race track and has race training, knows that road also very well, and he admits that I was leaving him behind, woot!!!
I have a camera mount being made for my bike right now, the same guy that made the one on the video is making mine, and going to the track Nov11 so will have tons of awesome racing videos.
Please dont upload this vid anywhere, I already have a edited version on youtube, cause my tags are in plain view, and I edited them out and cut out the end. Figured you guys would like the unedited one better.
