Pass. Looks like they abandoned their original themes of a co-op based off of survival, and moved towards a team-based shoot-em up. Looks like the skill-curve went down by a lot. One shot melee kills? Incendiary Uzi shells (tier 1 for Christs sake)? On top of that, what in the hell do I want to fight with a frying pan for? Or even a chain-saw? Cool in Doom, not in L4D. Maps look a little more complex, but still very linear. Frankly, I'm not impressed with anything. The biggest sham I think is the fact that so many people bought L4D 1 (with the $50 price tag) and promised future content equal to TF2. Never delivered. Edit: And I'll also rant about the characters. Unlike the previews for the original L4D, I feel no attachment to any of these characters. But hey, maybe it's too early to tell. Still the think the game in general is going to blow. The whole, same few weapons, same few maps, same few everything. If anything, I want a harder L4D. And this seems easier. I think maybe for the melee weapons, they should put a thing where once your weapon, such as the axe, it used too often, it breaks down, or it bends, or even gets dull, so that it takes more hits to kill the zombies. Like the top of the axe could fly off after awhile, leaving you with just the stick. |

i would still want to play the game either way.. but incendiary bullets? kind of overpowered. im happy they still have all the special infected though. but what about the tank?(havnt watched all vids) was it replaced by a whole bunch of "chargers"? and 1 hit melee KOs are overpowered aswell. at least cut off a limb and they can continue attacking i mean come one.... a pan?! and i agree with display. i dont feel very attached to the players as when i saw the trailer for L4D. but at least theres no annoying ass louis. but francis hating everything... gonna miss that atleast theres different zombie models now and not just like 3 |

They went in the completely wrong direction with this. What are they gonna do in versus mode? You can now easily see where the zombie team is gonna be cuz of daylight, Incendiary bullets... now kill the zombie team faster, and the fact they shoulda added a few more firearms than melee weapon would have been better. Now i heard there is gonna be weather change, which i dont really care for unless it impairs the visibility of the humans. Its still a little early to judge, but from the looks of it I'm not that interested for the price its gonna be. |

the only screwed up thing i found bad with this is that wtf?!?! getting hit w/ a pan= the same damage as getting hit with a big ass hammer and the 1 shot kills too... i mean yea a headshot would be good but a simple shot to like the arm and they die? wtf? |
