Yeah, I've seen that video many times for training purposes. It's pretty disturbing. The cop deputy Kyle Dinkheller was able to shoot the suspect in the gut. The suspect was captured and sentenced to death two years later.The deputy shot first after noticing the gun and the orders to put the gun down failed. Due to advanced firing from military training and fire suppression he wasn't able to stop him.

If that was me I would have shot him the moment I saw the gun and would have kept shooting till he fell down and stopped moving and that's without the ordering him to do so.

It's better to be judged by 12 then carried by 6.

Thats when you let your lifeless body slam on the acccelerator while that police tries to surf on your hood...... jk jk jk Nah cops were just doing their job. Guy didnt deserve to be shot like that... but it was their life or his.
