Reminds me of being in Afghanistan at Bagram Air field, where everyone comes and leaves the country. when a fallen soldier was being sent home all the soldiers of the airbase (including international troops) would line both sides of the entire main street of the airfield (Disney Road), which was over two miles long, and we'd salute the casket vehicle as it drove by. |
