A reboot of the game, open world bounty hunter, said to be a cross between bladerunner, borderlands, and mass effect, instead of a linear (hl2/doom3) style of game. The overall settings and such are supposed to be the same as Prey 1, but you play as a different person. Either way, I never played the first, it mostly bombed, but this looks pretty sweet.... plus Johnny Cash playing Soundgarden's "rusty cage" delivered full eyegasm. It supposedly runs on a modified id tech 4 engine (doom3).

I heard the game will be NOTHING like Prey 1 aside from the alien-type plot. I was a little disappointed at first. In Prey 1 you play a Native American aboard a an Alien Spaceship, and being native americano you can journey into the spirit realm and such

The ship has captured a bunch of humans (you being one of them), so as you walk along you see a bunch of brutal shit going like..

Prey 2 looks great though, will be a probable buy for me, the video makes me feel like I'll be playing Boba Fett :D

Its the same universe as the first, you are just playing as a different character. But yes, its a reboot of gameplay (for the better I think) but its still the same places, you supposedly even run into the guy from the first.
