FYI, it's "them crooked vultures." In my area we have an abysmal radio selection, like 1 pop station, 1 rock station (nu-metal), 1 classic rock, etc. The rock station we have is bad in the fact that they pick like 30 songs, play them over and over all day, with about 1 out of every 5th-10th song being some older one. They have been forcing the single "New Fang" down our throats for a month now. Its not a bad song, I just don't find it that great (and I am a huge Grohl fan), it has too much of a "queens of the stone age" sound to it. Josh Homme sounds like he is just saying "blah blah, blah blah, blah be blah blah blah." http://www.google.com/url?q=http://popu ... dot4H63Sew Again, not bad, just sounds kinda busy/mixed sound, too many influences clashing, hard to explain, but put Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, and queens of the stone age in a blender and it is about what I expected, all are awesome in their own right, but mixed, not my style. Maybe I am listening to a weaker song, but this is the single that they have been playing 10x a day lately. |
