mIRC can be used to find scrims ( #calscrimcz). our mIRC channel is up anytime we have interest in doing cal. we have to have a channel with members idling if we are in CAL.
why? i dont know. display would answer better.

IRC is just basically another means of communication, like AIM or MSN. We have a Channel on the GameSurge network, in case anyone wants to contact us by it, even though none of us is ever there, including me :P

But yes, we (CS Players) mainly use mIRC for finding scrims, and if we were ever to go CAL I would set up our channel to the fullest, and always idle in it.
