dam good thing u got it back.. yeah u should get a cd or something and save the files there so if it happens u have back up and u wont be scared :D pretty scary situation there

You can set up a scheduled sys back up to your external hard drive.

I had something like this too, it's a really nasty one! I lost everything in my pc once already... EVERYTHING. Everything since 2004... :cry: I wanted to kill myself. But I didn't. I got the virus the second time, and I found out about system restore. So I just restored to the day before. And everything stayed fine... I acted quick because it was popular for giving you many alerts about your computer infected by a virus and it would automatically create short cuts to porn sites on your desktop.

i cried for u its ok :shock: ya luckily my dads smarter than to leave any vital information on our computer. Even our banking information he has on an external hard drive only. He just connects it when he needs it so its safe.
