It's the tissue that pads in between the bones in your knees. Very painful I bet. You also have meniscii in between each of your vertebrae. When you fuck one of those up, they have to go work around your spinal cord (very dangerous surgery) and insert an artificial pad in place of it.
What did they do to fix your knee? And was it a rip/tear or what?
Got any gross pictures of the surgery scarring? I love gross stuff.
I'm not exactly sure what they did, I'm going back to the doc soon, I'll ask then. And I might have pictures, if i do I'll be sure to post them. :P
