college is college really, there's millions of people who are happy/famous/ and rich that didnt go to college. No matter what the name is college is a college and you should be happy to be in any college really, or you could...instead of paying the +50,000$ a year, you could go to the library and pay a charge of 12.00$ in late fee's.

yes, i know that, both of my parents havn't gone to college and in my eyes, are successful, but going to a good college could help you learn more, and companies would want to hire someone who is smart and went to a challenging college who excelled at it, i plan on learning game design and i have looked at different colleges, and most of them are pretty bad and don't explain much, you want to get good grades to go to a good college to get the most out of learning for your career basically, and better colleges will offer a better degree (if i ever get the chance, i'd go for a Doctorate...) thus allowing more companies wanting to hire you and give you more pay, and w/e the hell you do with your money is up to you

Going to college is not mandatory. But as a college drop out myself... I recommend going!

Job experience and the ability to do the job gets you the job...

but having that degree gets your resume to the decision makers desk.
