Personally, I'd rather have a well running pub, that I know everyone will be in, instead of a bunch of different servers that lag.
Also running a bunch of seperate server will end up spreading out our population, and we'll end up with nobody in any of the servers most of the time.

Its like instead of havin one kickass four star Milwaukee Chopshop, were getting a bunch of Micky Dees.

Just look at the pub the last few days. Theres rarely ANYONE on it,
because we all know that its lagging, and thats frustrating.

What do you guys think is going to happen if we just get a bunch of laggy servers going?
Hell, I'd love us to have more servers,
but not at the expense of preformance and population.

Just my two cents.

Is because half of us is inactive, if we do play its for an hour or so. Not because the server is "laggy" and it really isnt laggy at all. I havent lagged once.

First off, and just to be clear about everything I say hear, I am not trying to be arguementative, I'm just sharing my opinion on the server change/server expansion.

I was basing my opinion on the amount of people that have said that their ping has gone up.
Typically when your ping is higher that means that you've lost in-game preformance to some degree. Or your lagging a bit.

My personal in-game preformance (not-sexually ladies ) has decreased pretty dramatically. There've even been a few instantes where I've been frozen in place for more than ten seconds, and then exploded in a bloody volcano. I can live with it, but it definatly makes me lose some motivation to play.

Another thing, because half of us are inactive, thats another reason not to set up many servers. It'll just spread us all out to the different servers, and we'll end up like so many of our other attempts at expansion. So far, the only real overally successful server other than the pub, is VMAN's Jailbreak server. I fail to understand why things would be different this time around, especially if the preformance of the servers arent up to par with the "competition" of other servers.

If this server more laggy than the normal pub, i can switch back over, thats the point of this test.

And we are going to expand to more servers, sorry, but CZ is a dead game, but I will always have a cz pub running.

wellll if (notice the IF) we moved on to another game (being it our main pub out of w/e amount of pubs we have by that time) i hope it's CS:S since it's counter-strike and there's more competition and crap, only downside are the hitboxes tho, but now i'm talking about a post that's been done before (Splak's Future)
