i would debate why shooting a deer is humane but i dont feel like wasting the time to do so

yeup.
plus a point given A LOT by hunters is..
would you rather have and animal die by a one shot clean kill by a gun or arrow OR have the population overgrow contract diseases from which they die painfully or the population grows large enough that they all starve to death and die as they will also destroy our crops and food that we need?

hunters do more than just "viciously kill" animals. we are the biggest part of conservation and do a lot to manage populations and keep them from slow painful death
