Post subject:  Back to the old server
Due to complaints about lag in the new server, I am copying all the files from it to the old pub. This will be finished soon. Once this is done I will try to finish up the map project since the pub project will be done. After I clear out all the crap maps, I will install the new requested maps.

The free server I have will be there to host:
Splak pub test server <--- will be down most of the time, I will only use it for testing
CSS <---- kinda done, needs more maps and mods
DoD:Source (gungame) <---- ???
TF2 <---- ????
L4D <--- corn?
SVEN Coop <----done by vman
CZ: surf climb <---- ????
CZ: Cal maps <---- Chris?
Tribes <--- I will do this one

I promise everyone's computer can run it, its free now (abandonware) easy for me to run a server. The game is a fast paced, instant respawn (back at base) deathmatch/capture the flag game. The way my server is (ultra renegades), is like a mod of tribes, the most popular mod, which is more or less, (almost) infinite jetpack, tons of bullets, all guns, 1shot1kill, air boosts, speed brakes (dont want to slam into the side of a mountain), and awesome levels, its a true 3d game being that there are levels and buildings floating above the ground level. It by far is my fav game of all time, just never have anyone to play with. It is the game that got me on computer FPS games (was in a clan call TM and we won the OGL Tribes-ultraR competition for the year back in like 01, woot).

Guys, About the L4D sever, ill have to get my friend to help you do something with hidden Cvars. idk if you know how or what to do with them, but on his sever, you can unpounce people as a Hunter and crawl around while incaped. It really adds to the game. Tell me if you want me to talk to him. And TF2 sever would be crazy. Looking forward to the CSS sever (hopefully you can get hook there) and im actually getting DoD:S like today or tomorrow so this should be awesome! TEH SPLAK EMPIRE IS GROWING! MUHAHAHA!!!!! :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

It will be 2 weeks or so, I am going to be busy all this week. Get up 640, get off work at 5, work out till 730, home and dinner at 8, game for an hour or so, watch tv and go to bed, thats my monday-wed schedule, if my g/f is not over, or if I am not over there, Thursday I have to replace my fork seals on my RC51 (my street legal bike), then pack, going to Florida for Friday-Sunday. Then next week I will be burned out im sure, that weekend I will track down the server files (either on my old TS server at my step moms house, or at my old old roommates house), move the files to my new server, set up the server, upload tribes for everyone, etc.

So yeah, 2 weeks-ish, I will let ya know.

Oh yeah, my new toy comes in from newegg tomorrow. 40inch 1080p tv for my bedroom (my 47inch is in my game room), with a 1000w 5.1 sound system and 25 ft hdmi cables to hook to my 9800gx2, and 25ft audio cables, so my tv will be my 2nd monitor, going to use my iphone to control the computer (vnc) and since I have 1.5tb's of tv shows and stuff, no more watching tv shows on my computer... so that is my project for Tuesday and Wednesday.
