Ah rightio. Is College pretty hard to get into in America?
Fuck yes.
I got into carnegie melon for next year, majoring in science and minoring in music. I had to maintain a 3.5 GPA, get over a 2000 on the SATS (I got a 2305) and graduate with music honors, as well as volunteering. THat school alone is 52 grand, and i got a 1/2 scholarship, so it is 26g's. I have some money saved up in a college fund, as well as some student loans im gonna take out.
EDIT: This is just to show u how hard it is to get into a good school.
lol XD my sister isn't no genius but she had a 3900 sumthing on the SAT.... xD anyway.. it's not rlly that hard...
u need to be organized tho and have luck on ur side >:) (that's sooo not me.. i dk where i put any of my papers >.< )
LOL, uh, maybe she got a 1900? 2400 is the max score.
Also, being organized isn't everything, but it does help. I know a kid who is going to Carnegie Mellon next year who throws everything in his backpack and can't find anything half the time. He still manages to ace all his tests most of the time. Then again, he's a genius. :P
I agree though, some luck is necessary when applying. I had friends who didn't even get waitlisted, just flat out denied at a college I got in to. They had similar grades/SAT scores too while I got accepted. Oh well.
