Yaaaay. Once i start playing again i'll play on this server a lot. What mods are on the server? other than surf olympics. there better be checkpoints :D

So far from what I played yesterday (too much fun!!!) is that there's the /top3 for best surfing accomplishtments, /rank, weapons respawn, and sometimes if the map is too difficult to beat for many pubbers, Sword allows hook and rope. Kudos to Cole for hosting and kudos to Sword for doing a great job of keeping the server in order. It's reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal fun!

Alright guys this goes for all admins on the surf server. Please stop using your hooks to set surf records. I have deleted all the records and would appreciate it if you keep the completion times fair.

I know the hook adds to your hang time I dont really care about that one but dont use hooks to reach the endzones in 4 and 5 seconds in icebob and other maps.

Seeing as to the server isn't getting any hits now for a few days, if you guys want certain maps/mods notify me in the next few days. Otherwise I'll just take the server down since its pretty useless now and I'de rather I took a load off the host than have an empty server running.

When the server is empty, there is little/no load on the system, leave it up longer if you want!

If there is another game (or mod) you want to run (TF2?) then you can do another server (and have both). Then if no one ever goes into your surf, we can stop it (but dont delete it).

sword, the deathrun server usually gets pretty popular during a map people dont like in the pub, if you just say youre going to deathrun when you leave sometimes 3-4 people will follow and mroe will coem later

^Yep. I played with Dorky, Incubus, Justin, and some other people in the deathrun 2 days ago and there was about 7-8 people in total. Dorky said that it's usually popular at night (from her time zone).

Only thing about the server is that the rtv command is disabled for us :(

I always play at night. I would be in Splak and like say hey you guys lets go to d-run and usually on like a friday alot of people come like

Papi, operation, infamous, pj, dorky, etc.

Please guys do not set multiple long jump records on purpose. I know this addon is getting popular between server regulars and some people worked really hard on their record and it's permanently lost when you do that. If you made one extra record by mistake after changing your name thats no problem since only the 10th place is lost. But if I find 5 different records by the same person again I will have those records deleted and that person banned for misuse. I do not want to do that so please respect the server rules.

Incubus has given me a list of maps he would like on the server. If anyone else has suggestions please pm me.

The next set of mods I'll be adding will be gun-game and CSDM.

Which kind of DM?
There's one that you have to pick everything up (guns, ammo, etc) and one that you choose from a menu.

I was thinking menu is better Zombie. I will also set it as free-for-all (can kill teammates as well) and see if people like it better than the usual team DM found on L|S servers and others.
