Part I: And so it ends...
The private is officially going to be shut-down; sent in a ticket and once my billing term is up, it goes down. Probably the most appropriate action I could do, we're scrimming a lot less - with most of our main scrim members now gone, the trend of us doing so has dramatically decreased. Not a big issue, could always borrow someone's private - or use our opponents server.



Part II: In the death of one, is the birth of another...
The new server is officially going to be a Counter-Strike 1.6 server.

I'll add the details later once the server if officially up.




Part III: Make It Stronger, Faster, More Powerful Than Before...
Mod discussion will commence when the server is up and operational.

I voted TF2. Here's why:

1. The gameplay is great. Each class has it's own strengths and weaknesses, and teamwork is highly encouraged through shown effieceny. The combo classes work really well together, but individual skill is still effective as well.

2. It's somewhat harder to get bored/feel repetitive gameplay with a variety of classes at hand.

3. The maps are all symmetrical. What more is there to say? (THIS IS A CT SIDED MAP!!!WAAAHHH!!!)

4. The right server set up can get lots and lots of people in and can keep the game on for hours.

Please note: All the points listed above are purely looking at the good side. I realize that the game is not perfect, but have chosen not to point out the faults, as it would be a waste of time.

i say TF2 beacuse of alot fo what AWOL said like no more bitching about maps being one sided, dosen't get boring after a while, no one class is one sided, requires team work, not run a gun like cs, and not as many(or any) hackers on it as there are in 1.6

I dont really have a preference. As long as it's populated I'm happy. Just keep in mind that recruitment will STILL be based only on activity in the CZ pub. If people like the clan, they need to buy the game and play in our pub.

But Source or 1.6 preferably. I'd prefer source I think. Hate 1.6 gameplay more than I hate source, but I hate them both.

i hate source, wanted it for the graphics but gameplay-wise is too... eh, idk its just wierd. as for 1.6, meh, i chose cz cuz thats what I prefer, but to each his own. I would much rather like 1.6 than source though...

My vote is 1.6, because not as many people have Source on their computers, or are capable of running it on their computers at all. I actually prefer 1.6 gameplay over Source as well. And it would be a near seamless transition from playing in the pub to playing in a 1.6 server, depending if it had any mods on it. Just my thoughts.

id love to do a 1.6 nuke/dust2 server with maybe office thrown into the rotation as well. im not really in the mood to make an argument as to why, but I think 1.6 would get more flow and would be a lot more fun imo.
