yea, you had to go to task manager and manually shut them off, they would be on even if i didnt have the interface to turn the hacks ons, fucking sucked.

I've never used hacks (never will), but after playing for so long I know what to look for, (like the shaking screen with aimbot, although you have to know exactly what the recoil for each gun looks like to determine whether it is aimbot and not just recoil). But in order to keep the server clean, everyone needs to be on the lookout always! If you think someone is hacking, don't accuse them or anything, just make a demo of about 10 rounds and send it to someone who knows what to look for. If they're hacking, they will be taken care of. If they aren't, well then the demo won't hurt them : )

maybe someone should post how to demo and shit like that. for ppl who dont necessarily know whats up. just an idea

Yes, but that was a very long time ago. Haven't had any type of hacks for a year now. The only reason I ever had them was because

A) I was curious.

B) When I first caught Monk, a respected and old member of Splak, I wasn't going send anything without being 100% positively sure he really was on the toggle. Even though I was convinced, I still asked Corn to report it to PePTo and Cole (this was fairly a long time ago, when I was still in Skeet). After then, I really never deemed it nessecary to use them - I can tell fairly easily by the way people move, think, react, etc. - even if they have a unique way of playing (ie. myself). Most of the time I tell by just playing with them, which is just something you gain from expirence through scrims and matches. If you're ever accusing the other team in a scrim for hacking, and I'm keeping my mouth shut not saying anything... interpret that that means I probably don't agree.

In my experience, you can make the demo as long as you desire it to be just by starting it with "record *name*" in console and then "stop" in console when you are satisfied.

oh and I always type "status" in console after I start recording to get everyone's IP and info, not sure if it is necessary, but I was told to do that a couple years back when I first started reporting hackers for my old clan.
