I was 60 miles north of New Orleans when the Mississippi Coast Line got hit.

120mph wind, Torrential rain...

We had a hole in the roof in the building i stayed in. We put a 50 gal trash can under it to catch rain water, we emptied it every 15 minutes.

I saw birds fly into telephone poles and explode.

Bah on 30 mph wind and a few inches of rain.

Suck it up.

120+ mph winds is fast enough to blow a piece straw or hay, 3 inches into a palm tree. Seen it on mythbusters. Now take those same destructive winds, and let them blow a bird into a telephone pole...

Wait.. If it's hitting that close to you.. I'll be getting about a 12-15 inches of rain, and 70 mph winds.. =D! HOORAY!

I'll be cleaning up pine branches from my front lawn by the time this shit is over..

Now that its slowed down, the higher air pressure system above it will have time to move on, so its looking like it might move north of us.. which means peng... your in for more than just pine needle duty.. sandbag duty as well :?
