Anyone watch UFC? What are you opinions on it? Who are your favorite fighters?

I for one, love UFC. Growing up I used to watch a lot of WWF/WWE or w/e the fuck they call it nowadays. Back in those times it was actually cool, now its all just a bunch of drama bullshit.

I however, could never be a UFC fighter, i think it takes mad guts to actually go into a cage and have to not only beat the shit out of your opponent but make sure he doesn't kill you. You have to be mentally trained as well as physically. I respect the hard work and dedication the fighters put to train their body to be at peak performance before a fight.

I like a lot of different fighters for different reasons.

One of them which I enjoy to watch is BJ Penn. He's a very smart fighter and I respect his fighting style. He'd rather read his opponent and wait for the right time to strike rather than tunnel vision him. Also, he's got incredible flexibility and his blocks are very helpful for him. I really don't think anyone is as smart and good as him right now for his weight division. Machida is also very fun to watch. He has a very strange fighting style were he dodges many of his opponents attacks and moves out of the way only to find the perfect time to land a sick combo to KO or earn him many points.

Anyways, I could go on forever but ill just stop there.

btw, i can't stand tito ortiz.

**Anyone catch UFC 108? Rashad Evans ftw!

I used to like UFC then it got to well known to the point that every time some Joe got into a fight he'd try and fight like he was in a UFC match.

I was jk no need to get so defensive... Anyways, I watched that shit one day and I saw like a part where he got the guys manager and beat his head in with a chair, I don't know if it was UFC or WWE, but I never really was interested in them. But the video games are hella tight.

I love UFC, Im trained in 3 styles of martial arts, 1st degree in TKD, brown belt in BJJ, and trained a year in Muay Thai Kickboxing.
I still train downstairs on a Everlast heavybag and a speedbag .
Best fighter ever - Royce Gracie. My favorite fighter today - Anderson Silva.
My favorite fight would have to be Stephan Bonar and Forest Griffin in the 3rd round of there contract fight, they beat the hell out of each other.

Couture vs. Coleman, pretty cool seeing two legends go at it.

Any thoughts?

I am going for Couture because he seems like the more conditioned fighter and a few of Coleman's last fights he's been slacking and looking winded pretty early

I'm trained to place the "lazy E" from an M9 pistol and the O+| from an m16 on center mass and to slightly squeeeeeeeze the trigger until I'm surprised with a pop. That my friends is how you engage and destroy your enemies in close combat. :)

I think you are confusing UFC with "Wrestling" like WWE, TNA, and all that redneck soap opera stuff. UFC is MMA (Mixed martial arts) fighting, its like boxing, with no full gloves, and you can fight however you want (boxing, submissions, kicking, whatever)...

UFC 110,

Antonio Minotauro Nogueira vs. Cain Valasquez (I vote Nogueira winning, he's more skilled and has been around longer not to mention his very prestigous Pride championship)

Wanderlei Silva vs. Michael Bisping (I vote Wanderlei winning, Wanderlei Silva is one of my favorite fighters and he has a long history of destroying his victims..they don't call him the axe murderer for nothing)

Wanderlei Silva vs. Michael Bisping - A good fight went to decison in Wanderlei's favor. Wanderlei Silva was one of the greatest of Pride fighting.

Antonio Minotauro Nogueira vs. Cain Velasquez - Me and my friends were really leaning towards Cain because he is young 7-0 in his professional fighting career and had destroyed everyone he had fought before, now 8-0 that he beat minotauro in the first round by TKO with punches.
