obama isn't gonna get us out of the war in just a week like everyone believes, that would be a logistical nightmare for starters, besides, most iraqi's don't really think he's gonna bring much change for them or even gonna be able to pull troops out, and its all depends on if congress wants to keep funding the war, like how CONGRESS declared war on iraq, not bush.

Oh don't get me wrong I'm totally happy that this did happen. That we can get past this race barrier. It is a huge part in history and I'm glad to say im here to see it. I wasn't trying to say that you did. Im just stating that the fact that people did or didnt vote for him is messed up because of his race. I know plenty of people that truely believe in him and have read his books. I also know people that won't vote for him because he is Black. This election was huge, if not the largest in history. We had one side with an white man and a women, and the other side with a black guy and a white guy. Either way no matter which side won it would of been a huge accomplishment. I just don't like that fact that people did vote one way just because of those factors, and thats what upsets me the most. Thetreatment women have recieve has been a big issue as well, whether they be black or white. That is another issue i would love to see america overcome. That is all I was stating with my comment.

Yeah Bush gave us this war in Iraq which was not needed and I'm sure I don't need to state my reasoning, the facts about the start of this war are everywhere.

This war made us spend more money than needed, put us in debt and not to mention the numbers I'm hearing that we are spending weekly to keep this war.

In the end, Gdogg is right, out with Bush in with some new change.

Bush brought us into this war based on intel that was gathered from MULTIPLE countries intelligence agencies. Dont think that he just cowboyed up and decided he would drag us all down.

There were multiple documents who said that Iraq had WMD's. The main one being our CIA documents from the 80's stating that WE GAVE THEM TO HIM!

Obama has put himself very high and has a lot to live up to. He has big shoes to fill that he has made us all think he has. I really hope that he can do it so we all can live better. That's one reason why I wan't so big on him, and his inexperience. He has a lot to do to go through with a lot of those promises he has made. I truely feel that it won't go the way he has told everyone. It's easy to make a mistake, than it is to fix one. If things were just even and made better, it would be easy. digging out of a big whole is even harder. I guess we just have to wait and see.

very true too chris

and with how much time we wasted trying ot get the UN to inspect iraq, saddam most likely buried them pretty fucking well, or hid them in a neighboring country(like syria)

Hey I love war. Life is easy and I don't have to pay taxes. I would love to be redeployed. I don't really care I threw my vote away. There's some good ideas in the Libertarian party, like legalizing weed, and some other important stuff... :D

P.S. We can still use USSR: United States Socialist Republic!!! Woot woot

it can be thought as a game, war is sort of like chess if you think about it (not trying to say i enjoy war or anything)

Ah ha. Which sounds like a reasonable reason to invade, except when we can look at the outcome. Which is: 0 progression and increased hatred to America. It also doesn't hurt that he fucked up our economy and virtually destroyed the world's image on the US.

Aside from that, I agree with you Chris. It's certainly true that even though you can classify Mccain as a "conservative", but it's obvious his plans were far better in running the country.

Change may be a good thing, but change for the sake of change isn't as good as Americans unfortunately think.

You have to think of it that way. When you see your battle buddies get hit with svbid's, ppied's and tics it tends to screw with your head thinking man I'm gonna die. That could lead to complacency, and when complacency hits that's when people die. So you gotta have that attitude so it dosen't mess with you. ya get what i mean homie.

Our media Fucked up the image of the untied states.(caught this typo, chose not to fix it. hmmmm) you certainly don't have to put a positive spin on everything, that is propaganda, but when all we hear are our nation's folly's, well, what else is there to talk about? Bush is not as bad as the bush Many have in their minds, and Obama will never be the Obama people think he will.
