Bush brought us into this war based on intel that was gathered from MULTIPLE countries intelligence agencies. Dont think that he just cowboyed up and decided he would drag us all down.
There were multiple documents who said that Iraq had WMD's. The main one being our CIA documents from the 80's stating that WE GAVE THEM TO HIM!
Ah ha. Which sounds like a reasonable reason to invade, except when we can look at the outcome. Which is: 0 progression and increased hatred to America. It also doesn't hurt that he fucked up our economy and virtually destroyed the world's image on the US.
Aside from that, I agree with you Chris. It's certainly true that even though you can classify Mccain as a "conservative", but it's obvious his plans were far better in running the country.
Change may be a good thing, but change for the sake of change isn't as good as Americans unfortunately think.
