So was Crisis Core a prequel to FF7? Or something else?

Yep, its a prequel, a story leading up to the events of FF7. Ive also heard its pretty good, and since I have a PSP, I might get it one day.

crisis core is unbelievable, i'm at the part where u fight Angeal, bastard does that move that KO's me in 1 hit, and crisis core takes place like 10 years before Advent Children

Wasn't Advent Children supposed to be after the final events of FF7?

yeah here's the order from past to future

crisis core - FF7 - advent children

crisis core is 10 years in the past with either FF7 or advent children, i don't remember
