Recently On internet explorer, out of random times new tabs would just start opening and opening and opening and NOT STOP. It would open like 100 every minute. And I've also been getting pop ups lately and that's never happened before. I did a AVG virus scan yesterday and found 2 Trojan's that my brother got me more than a year ago and 14 spyware. I got rid of them but it still happens. I'm using Firefox now, I don't get the hundreds of tabs opening up but I do get pop ups. Any one know how to fix that tab thing and a good pop up blocker?

Feel sorry for you if you have Vundo, if you do, you'll properly find out using the link Cursed gave you.

I'd also suggest using Vundofix, if you have the trojan that is.

Downloadable here; http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4

I did a malwarebytes' scan and left it on overnight and until i got home from schoo and it said its been scanning for 18 hours and found 206 objects infected. And i checked it this morning befor i went to school and it said 206 also, so i just aborted the scan and got rid of the 206. But it said i had to restart my computer and thats when it started happening....

It happens when i turn on my computer and after a about 100 of those come at me, they dont come up again until i try and open a program.

i think you need to reformat that piece of crap, that computer is older than you right? so yeah, i'd do that, unless your dad has some really important stuff on there, then you gotta wait for him to sign in and backup his data

Holy shit, 18 hours for malwarebytes? It normally takes like 30 minutes, that when your computer is field with virus' too

I'd really suggest reformatting that computer. But before doing that, get an external harddrive ($100 if that) back up the computer to that. Then reformat, no information is lost.
