Macs are way overrated. 50% of the price of the MacBook is going towards the shiny apple logo on the top.

If you want I'll make you a laptop, well it'll be a MavBook and there will be a picture of me on the top too! And yes, it will be ridiculously overpriced!

I'm probably gonna buy a new laptop too. I made a mistake buying a 17" HP. I definitely going for the 13.3" Dell XPS.

my mac doesnt have any security that i know of i just dont think anyone bothers to make a virus for mac. i never said macs are better. i just like how the OS works, it is very simple and easy to use. however windows is more compatible with everything. if i wasnt too lazy i would just build a mac which would be way cheaper, and still have the same OS. but i generally like my mac. like i said the os is very simple, looks nice, and is easy to use. shit i dont think its worth 2k to have a shiny computer, but the look is what give the mac some of its appeal. i guarantee that if any of you walked into an apple store with an open mind you would like the OSX. but like i said. i dont think this shit is worth the money. i was just lucky that my dad isnt smart enough to realize that macs are a giant waste of money. however, the desktops are nice for their price. better, bigger screen, and around half the price.

Keep this in mind. My brother owned a macbook for like 3 years in which I used it many time when he needed to use my computer. Over the years, that computer have had so many problems with connectivity and with file sharing it's not even funny. When I used the laptop, it was nothing special. It did the same thing that windows would do. My brother sold his macbook and made his own pc. Funny thing is that when he had the laptop he bragged of how good it was and when got his pc he never complained about it.

i wanna build my own pc, and prob will once i get some money and job. my macbook pro basically sucks for what i want to use it for. i dont like the graphics card and it overheats like a bitch plus not right click. but those are about the only two problems ive had with it. granted, i never really had any problems for windows except my dad's dumbass downloading AOL virus protection instead of just paying for norton.

I've always heard good things about ASUS"s but you should consider getting an ANUS haha. Or perhaps this brand new top of the line lapper...
