Or.. You could've better spent your money getting a car that, in the end, wont be eating your gas, or constantly needing parts.. :?

Then again.. I want my 1969-71 El Camino SS with a 454...so..yeah..

But if i go turbo ima get some stronger rods n pistons eventually an a turbo camshaft set from jim wolf tec an also get a tuned ecu for turbo n like 400cc injectors n all that shit.

On motor my a/f guage goes from full lean, to the highest stoch, back and forth, at WOT, it goes 1 light into rich, and 3 under N2O, perfect tune. The guy that tuned my car tunes LT1 engines only.

I dont have time/want to race my car, has not seen the track in 3+ years, I would like to sell it and buy something that is better suited for driving to work every day, but at the same time I have alot of stuff in that car that I put in myself and would hate to see it go. If you know anyone who wants a ~550-600hp daily driver car for under 8grand, let me know, I am debating on putting it up on some car forums to sell it. Of course I would buy a low mileage all stock 02 SS to replace it :)

i know my car got a XTD stage3 clutch
ssac header
had a intake but now it dissapered
high flow cat
had a nice exhaust on it but when it was my bros he cut it off to make it louder n never got around to buyin another it had a glass pack on it n a magnaflow muffler lol
some brand short shifter really short throw
4 diff tires ones toyo i know that lol
spray painted valve cover lol
and a entire turbo kit sittin in our shed

this lil thing is fast when running like we destoryed a freinds LS teg i mean we pulled on him that was fun and the only bad thing is its gouverend at 115 :( lol

Alot....
headers were ~500
Exhaust ~ 400
injectors ~ 300
Torque arm + STB = 1000
Cam kit + rockers = 1000
N2O + ignition and electronics = 1400
Wheels/tires = 800
CAI = 300
Coil and wires = 200
All mounts = 100
Shifter setup = 300
Driveshaft = 200
Waterpump = 300


Those are the more expensive parts, all the little parts add up too.
I know I could strip the car down and sell the car for like 4-5g, and get another 3-4 from parts, but I would rather sell it as a whole complete car. The reason it is so cheap for all that stuff, is I did it all myself. The cam kit would of been 2000 for a shop to do it.

I completely agree with Cole, dont use any kind of forced induction or N2O until you beef up the motor. When I was younger my father an I had a project car, a miata to be exact. We made our own turbo kit and set it to 5-6 psi with a FMIC and a G t25 turbo. First time on the dyno it made 220 out of a 115 hp motor with stock internals and a free flowing 3 inch exhaust and a borla intake. next dyno run the turbo spiked at 8 psi and blew the motor. We then replaced the entire motor with forged internals in a forged block with lowered compression pistons and a HALTEK engine management system. With 2 years of digital tuneing in different BAR, psi, and RPM and got a 3000 lbs car with 345 hp at the wheels a 411 ft/lbs of torque.

Long story short, make sure everything is made with a factor of 2-3 in mind. make sure everything is made to withstand 2 to 3 times what your going to be putting out.

(BTW we also had a flyin' miata 6 spd race tranny put in and a RX7 differential put in the rear. So we had EVERYTHING covered)

yea i know it should be built but im not aiming for a lot of power im jsut aiming for around 200 to wheels these internals can handle a pretty decent amount of boost stock from what all ive seen.
It like we had a 98 VW golf my bro boosted an he had people telling him not to take it over 5 psi n he was runiing at 15 with no problem i miss taht car it was fast as hell for a lil 4 cyl that thing had a ass load of tourqe for the lil engine just the tranny couldnt hold that much n the kid we traded to for the SER broke the tranny

I watch it, but its getting lame, Vinnie left 2 episodes ago, Paul Jr is still an arrogant ass, Mikey is still the comic relief, Paul Sr. is still working on a stroke, and thats the show, plus Jim Quinn, Kody, Jason, and Rick are what is left of the show.

Vinnie and Rick were the true bike builders, now its been shifted to Kody and Rick, with Sr. there to bitch, Jr. there to be a tool, Mikey for a laugh, Jim to make shit on the waterjet, and Jason to sketch shit on the computer.

I watched a couple of American Chopper Ep's

Paul Sr, Paul Jr, and Mickey went to Brighton for a Bike Festival thing. So I got to see them 8)

I just like watching the bikes at the end, some pretty nice stuff there.
